John N. Schindler, Director

Mr. Schindler received a Bachelor of Science (Hon.II) from McGill University of Montreal, Quebec in 1960, a D.I.C. (Equivalent to M.Sc) in Mineral Exploration in 1961 and a Master of Science in Mining Geology in 1963, both from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, University of London, England. He earned his Ph.D. in Geology from McMaster University of Hamilton, Ontario in 1975. He has over 40 years in exploration and open pit/quarry mining experience including senior management and consulting on four continents. Commodities included within his experience are iron ores, molybdenum, uranium, precious and base metals and industrial minerals.

Mr. Schindler has held middle and senior management positions with a number of mining and oil and gas companies including Amax Exploration Inc. and Union Oil Ltd.

As a consulting geologist since 1981, Mr. Schindler has consulted to private and public companies including Terracon Geotechnique Ltd., Diamet Minerals Ltd., Continental Lime Ltd., Inland Aggregates Limited, and also for his personal company.
